    Yes, there is a town in Lincolnshire from which the US Boston takes its name. There are also one or two other places called Boston. Some information on places called "Boston" is at this site.

    We also have a town in Co Clare, Ireland called Boston. Im afraid Ive no info on the place as yet, but will post it when I find it.
