Without Googling or indulging in any other filthy
habit, I think the correct answer might be apples.

G'day and yay, SS! Orange is Oz's biggest apple growing centre outside the Apple Island of Tasmania. It does also make wine so riaj is not entirely wrong. Someone also once told me it was known for it's pot but that's hardly a fruit!
