    		I've not found a source to back this up BUT:

    I believe that there are far more palm trees in the world than there are maple or oaks (due to some extent by the many palm "forests" being planted because it produces a very useful crop - more useful than the others anyway) and the environments in which palms grow very easily and readily more than the others.
    Secondly, they tend to grow in climates that have more thunderstorms than where oaks and maples grow.
    So overall I "calculate" that it has to be the Palm tree.
