    Who was the tallest man who ever lived?

    		Hi Kola! According to the Guinness Book of World
    Records, the man's name was Robert Pershing. He
    was born in Illinois on 22 Feb 1918 and died on
    15 July 1940. When last measured on 27 June 1940,
    he was 8 feet, 11.1 inches tall. He died from a
    septic blister on his foot caused by badly fitted
    brace. His coffin was 10 ft. 9 in. long, 32 in
    wide and 30 in. deep.

    		shady, I think "Pershing" was actually the middle name of Robert Pershing Wadlow.
