    Galileo

The space probe Galileo is about to do a kamikaze dive onto Jupiter in the last part of its mission to gather information about the planet. I had a web reference from the Washington Post (posted by them about an hour ago) but my computer stuck and I lost it. So you'll have to find it yourselves. It was at the top when I googled Galileo.

It's to stop it drifting towards the moon Europa, which scientists think may have water beneath its frozen surface, so that it won't contaminate it with earth microbes.
