    Is there any historical evidence to support the existence of Marco Polo? My world history teacher said that he might have been a symbol to represent a real person who took a similar journey in real life.

    MARCO POLO did exist but some of his tales might not have been true and fails to mention aspects of China such as THE GREAT WALL which led people to believe he did not go but listened to stories
