Apart from the Bermuda Triangle, are there any others?

I watched a documentary that said if you placed the exact area of the Bermuda triangle any where at all on the Earths water coverage , and traced that particular areas history back far enough , then you would find equally as many strange disappearances of ships , planes etc. I'm sorry I dont remember the name of the program but they actually demonstrated it by picking a random area and researching it , sure enough they were right.
