Does anyone have any trivia facts about Harry S. Truman?

Question #3975. Asked by kewl. (Jul 05 00 2:36 PM)

    JReid

Much maligned during his presidency, Truman has gained in stature since he left office. His most significant actions included the decision to drop the atomic bomb on Japan and to fire General Douglas MacArthur over what he perceived as undermining his authority during the Korean conflict. Trivia buffs love asking what the 'S' in Truman's name stands for. It doesn't stand for anything.
