    		Freshwater Bryozoans occur in North America East of the Mississippi and North of the 39th parallel. The colonies can reach up to the size of a basketball, and look like blobs of jelly, either clear, green, yellow or brown. They attach to the underside of vegetation and logs in clear water. Look for them there.
