I think is IS Bridgwater, but wondered whether anyone could dig up any proof.

I couldn't find any analysis of the relative sizes of illuminated carnivals around the world. Plenty of sites repeat the assertion that the Bridgwater procession is (arguably) the world's biggest. It may be so if only because illuminated carnivals are a Somerset tradition and therefore the competition "worldwide" is limited to that which is found locally.

I'm looking for the name of a TV mini series movie/show. We had rented them from the video store. It's about a boy who is traveling to different worlds looking for pieces of a machine to get him back home (I think.) He is gathering something along his way. He travels to different worlds with a "professor" and maybe another person. Along the way he visits 5-8 different worlds (each was a different movie.) They were all entitled "Somebody and the Land of ???" One world had to do with giant eggs, one world a town of toys, and the end was a land something like a fantasy "Camelot." My children watched these movies anywhere from 1988 - 1993. I'm hoping someone can help me end my frazzled search.
