in eukaryotic photosynthetic organisms (unless you count organisms like nudibranchs that "eat" cells and keep chloroplasts to make food for them). It varies from species to species and I THINK sometimes they move arround the cell.

In plant cells. Chloroplast contains chlorophyll, a substance that helps in photosynthesis. Photosynthesis is a process where green plants make food using water and chlorophyll in the presence of carbon dioxide and light. I am learning this in my Grade 7 class!
