Or could it be this?
As an attempt to exclude it from eastern and southern grazing lands, the longest fence in the world was erected. (In fact, it is the longest man-made structure in the world, well over twice the length of the Great Wall of China.) In Queensland it is called the Barrier Fence, where it stretches for 2500km. It then joins the Border Fence in New South Wales, and travels another 584km. This is finally connected to the Dog Fence, 2225km of fence in South Australia. The whole structure is known as the Dingo Fence.

How does the "dingo fence" beat the "wall of China" ?
If maggie's numbers are accurate, 2500 + 584 + 2225 = 5309.
Great Wall of China has been recorded as being well over 6000km for many years. Recently it has been revised to possible 7200km having discovered some more through archeological findings.

The Great Wall of China was not a continous wall, but rather a series of walls. The longest continous stretch was about 1800 kms long. It might not compare in greatness, but the Dingo Fence of Australia is / was continous and is / was much longer. There are also several trans-continental gas pipelines around the planet that are considerably longer than the longest parts of the great wall. And apologies for wrecking your party, but the Great Wall of China can't be seen from the moon either (contrary to the beliefs of 99% of Chinese) . . .
