    What is the unit of liquid measure whose symbol looks like two threes on top of each other?

    		not entirely sure but found this on the great Symbols.com website http://www.symbols.com/encyclopedia/14/148.html. Are you sure that the shape is 2 3s vertically, or could it be rotated through 90 degrees (ie it would then resemble a common sign for water)?

    		I checked out the website. It's a plane old ounce symbol. I've never seen such a thing in my life prior to posting this question. I did not see it on a website, sequoianoir. I saw it on a medicine bottle. I wonder why they didn't just stick with milliters, which were labeled on the bottle as well. I thought it was this great big scientific unit. Ounces. Ha.
