    		Michael Jackson is the name of a former boss of Channel 4, which screened Brookie. Show creator Phil Redmond blames Jackson's tampering with the scheduling of Brookside for its ultimate demise.

    Brookside bowed out after 21 years with an episode including the dispatch of this nasty drug-dealer by hanging him out of his own window.
