Kirribilli House is the Prime Ministerial home in Sydney. Howard stays at The Lodge when he is in Canberra.
The two who opted not to live at The Lodge were James Scullin (PM from 22.10.1929 to 6.1.1932) and Ben Chifley (13.7.1945 to 19.12.1949). Scullin lived at the Hotel Canberra whilst Chifley made his home at the Kurrajong Hotel.
