    		http://www.experience-bermuda.com/history/ will not allow you to cut and paste. The lease given in 1941 in exchange for 50 Navy Destroyers was for 99 years up to 2040 but operations ceased on 1st September 1995 and the properties were officially handed back to the Bermuda government.

    		Thanks for that, SM. My source (published in 2003) says 2040, so I'm glad I posted the question.
