Does the Barbary Coast still exist in San Francisco, and if so, where is it?

    Question #41283. Asked by supermary345.

    robboy

The old Barbary Coast used to be quite near what's now North Beach, where the old docks met the saloons and other establishments. It's been long ago filled in to make more living room, thereby eliminating the Barbary Coast of old.
