    What about Ross Perot?

Good job, Griffin. I guess I didn't make the wording of my question tricky enough. I thought someone would say George Wallace, since he was the last declared third party candidate to receive votes in the Electoral College. But yes, there is always the problem of the rogue elector (in states that don't require their electors' votes to conform to the winner of the state's popular vote). Coincidentally, LBJ received multiple rogue electoral votes (I think it was ten or eleven) when JFK was elected president in 1960. And Hamlet, Ross Perot never won any individual state's popular vote tally, even though he won almost 20% of the overall vote in 1992, so he never received any votes in the electoral college.
