Woodstock was a boy bird. I've read just about every Peanuts book and I have a hard back book of the late Charles Schutlz.

The Peanuts website ( www.snoopy.com) uses the masculine pronoun when refering to Woodstock, Charles Schultz is quoted as doing so, as well.
