The song is "New England" written by Billy Bragg and sung by Kirstie McColl. The first line "I was 21 years when I wrote this song. I'm 22 now but I won't be for long" was lifted from a song on Simon & Garfunkel's "Sound of Silence" album. A definite point to me there. Nov 25 03, 1:38 AM
