    In computer science an average line of code is taken to be 60 characters. Bearing this in mind, how many lines of code are there in the latest version of the Microsoft Windows operating system and how many people were needed to put this code together?

    Normal arithmetic counts from negative numbers through zero to positive numbers, e.g. -2, -1, 0, -1, =2, etc. But for some reason years from BC through to AD do not have a zero year. It goes 2BC. 1BC, 1AD, 2AD, etc. Why is this? Was the inventor of the AD system simply a bad mathematician?

    In mathematics, when working in the real number system, why do positive numbers have two square roots, but only one cube root? Hint: it has to do with imaginary numbers.
