    		His chemotherapy sessions were to no avail, and he died peacefully at University College Hospital, London, at 7pm on Friday, October 25, 2002. Hodgkin's disease - a form of cancer that affects the lymph glands - was diagnosed when Harris went into hospital with a severe chest infection in August. It is this which killed him.
