    With reference to that wonderful film "Saving Private Ryan" which family had the most sons serving in WWII and what were their names and where did they come from?

    The Sullivan family, of Waterloo, Iowa, had five sons; George, Francis, Joseph, Madison and Albert, who served, and died, together on the USS Juneau. Their tragic loss led to a new US armed services rule that brothers could no longer be assigned to the same station.

    the Pritchard family had 7 sons serving in WW2,Henry,Albert,Dai,Horace,Clifford,Idris and Ron who sadly died aged 19.They were born in Penrhiwceiber
