Seasonal is questionable as it does depend on where you live and if you get any snow but the word 'toboggan' is borrowed directly from the Micmac word 'taba'gan.'

It would be seasonal if they show episodes of Captain Pugwash on TV, this Christmas, as the name Pugwash is derived from the Micmac word 'Pagwechk'.
Most likely seasonal connection is the reindeer as they are also known as Caribou which comes from the Micmac word 'galipu' and entered the English language in the 1660's

Yay SM and more! I looked up "toboggan" (which is seasonal where we come from isn't it) and found this language, Micmac, that I had never heard of. Presuming that few if any other English words would be borrowed from it I asked the question, only for you to find the reindeer connection. But I'm always happy to learn.
