Which state in the USA has the most Welsh descendants?

    shady shaker

Because of the link with coalmining, I would suggest Pennsylvania.

    Hamlet.

I agree with shady - many towns around Philly have Welsh names...but there is more coal mining in West Virginia.

Pennsylvania is the answer I gave,as my good friend Bryce told me long ago there were lots of Welsh place names around Philadelphia.Imagine my surprise when I was told the answer was OHIO with 20 per cent Welsh heritage. Can anybody verify Ohio as the right answer?

    Hamlet.

mochyn, your friend Bryce was correct as shown by this site. Bryce sounds like a sharp guy...
