In 1926 Warner Brothers produced "Don Juan" - the first sound motion picture...I'll let someone else figure out where it was shown.

Hamlet was right that it was "Don Juan" That was the first movie with a pre-recorded soundtrack. It wasn't a talkie as the soundtrack was only music. "The Jazz Singer", 1927, was the first movie with recorded speech.
