Are we looking for Lady Margaret Beaufort, Countess of Richmond and Derby, mother of Henry VII?

Now I'm even more confused, Henry VII died in 1509, or is this a really cryptic clue?

Ah, now I'm clear. The year and the quotation marks had me confused. The team is called the "Lady Margaret Blues". I assumed the quotes were because the Beauforts, despite royal decent, were not technically royal themselves.
