While looking through the newest quizzes, I found a reference to someone who apparently is or was a 'tight end.' Can I please have a (clean) explanation (probably from the USA as it seems to involve the NFL)?

I have heard Mozart's famous Scherzo or Musical Joke and don't get it. Can someone please explain it to me? I was once told by a history professor that more colonists volunteered to fight for the British in the American Revolution than for Washington et al.
