    		According to the passage in the book, the film title is not specified - it just says it's a film set in biblical times when a man was thrown off a balcony and torn apart by the crowd.

    		The jailer's wife didn't remember the name of the film. Smith was executed. You'd have had to have seen the film to know what he was talking about. Any buyers?

    		Can anyone out there help with this one? A film set in biblical times where a man is torn apart by a crowd. In Cold Blood is set in 1959 so that narrows it down a bit. Does anyone recognise the film in question?

    		What movie is the main character in the book talking about. He's not talking about the movie of the book, it hadn't been made into a movie yet. The beauty of this question is it's impossible to look up anywhere. You have to have read the passage in the book and seen the movie he's talking about. The movie "In Cold Blood" has nothing to do with it.
