According to the US Social Security office, the most popular boy and girl names in the US for 2002 were Jacob and Emily. For the UK, according to BabyCentre.com, Chloe and Jack. The stats are divided into "England and Wales" and "Scotland" but the names are the same for both. I've found reference that the list for Scotland comes from the Register General, and I'm sure the list for England and Wales also comes from an official office. Dec 29 03, 10:06 AM
