    Sir George Thompson won the prize for physics in 1937 for work on the interference phenomenon in crystals irradiated by electrons.

    Well done Maggie. What is interesting is that this work demonstrated the wave nature (as opposed to particle nature) of the electron. I think this is brilliant one-upmanship on the old man!
