Yeavering Bell in Northumberland. This is King Edwin of Northumberland rather than the later one based in Wessex. This one introduced Christianity into the North of England when he married the interestingly named Sexburga. This was regarded as a good thing by the Pope and the priesthood (not the name or the marriage!) http://members.tripod.com/~midgley/yeavering.html
