Cloning is the creation of a new living thing which has identical DNA to an existing living thing. One way to clone is to take a leaf off a plant and to put it in rooting powder. After a few days, it will sprout roots. It can be planted and will grow into a new tree which is a clone of the original, having the same DNA.
With animals, identical twins, triplets etc are all clones of each other. It is not simple, however to make a clone of an adult animal. The techniques for doing this involve taking a cell from some creature, cleaning the DNA out and putting in the DNA of the adult animal you want cloned. The cell is then implanted in a host mother and grows as a normal baby, eventually coming into the world as a new animal which is genetically identical to (although much younger than) the adult.
Having a clone made of you would be like have an identical twin brother/sister who was much younger than you.

here you go.
gonomon is right but you don't have to put in rooting powder. Tons of plants asexually (make clones of themselves) reproduce naturally. here are a few examples: many succulents such as christmas cactuses, aloes, tons of other cactuses, and many vines such as morning glories, etc.
about animals... well, flatworms split in half (or bite their tails off... not sure), snails and slugs can lay unfertilized eggs and make clones of themselves, some lizards can do that too, brittle stars and sea stars (starfish) can re-grow another individual from severed arms (and they can re-grow arms), sea anemones, sponges, corals and others can reproduce by budding, and probably many other animals can reproduce like that... I can't remember right now.
(remember that 97% of all animals in the world do not have a single bone in their body)
