I imagine you would like a common link here Maggie, but no luck, so a bit of improvisation has been provided.
Phil took Buddy to his tailor soon after they met to replace what he called 'his unstylish hick clothes'. he also gave Buddy the song 'Raining In My Heart'.
The tennis stars were best friends and Vitas introduced MacEnroe to the New York nightlife and the fast lane of society. (Wrong way round I know!)
Lt. James Stewart hosted the Army Air Force recruitment film documentary 'Winning Your Wings' while Clark Gable narrated 'Wings Up' for the AAF officer training school in Miami.
Drawn a blank on the last two but suspect Lilly Langty is in there somewhere.

It's the big YAY to DB. I have no confirmation to back up the story, but it was in my new book and I thought I'd share it with those of you who haven't got one yet! (That's the new book what I bought, not what I wrote!)
