The chamber pot is also fondly known as the "gazunder" as in it "goes under" the bed. In the seventies they became collectors' items, and were often used as plant pots. The most popular plant to put in them was, strangely, not the sweet pea, but an aspidistra. Jan 24 04, 4:01 AM
