    Do any citrus fruits grow in the UK?

    Not normally except in greenhouses as the climate is not conducive, but it may surprise you to know there are a number of ancient Fig trees especially in the south of England that produce a huge amount of fruit in good years.

    There's a very fine specimen at (not in) Winchester Cathedral.
