What is the average amount of leap years in a century?

    Question #44229. Asked by tjoebigham.

    TabbyTom

    I make it 24.25.

The final year of a century (i.e. the year with a number ending in 00) is not a leap year unless its number is divisible by 400. So in four centuries, three will have 24 leap years and one will have 25.
