Must have been on the borders of Russia where the Iron Curtain was. There seems to be a few sites claiming to have the World's largest. For instance - The Monterey Bay Aquarium is home to almost 300,000 animals in about 550 different species. The Outer Bay exhibit holds one million gallons (3,785,400 liters) of sea water.
