Why don't corn kernels digest?

Cell walls of plants are composed of cellulose.
Humans can’t digest cellulose.
When you eat plant material you break up the cell walls to gain access to the nutrients inside.
You need to chew your food more if you have whole kernels at the end. You're wasting your money!
