    A sign used to be alongside the M4 in Newport declaring "Newport - the home of the mole." Why?

    		Shouldn't that have a capital M? The home of the famous Mole Wrench, even. Brilliant gadget. Can't find mine... Are they still made there, or is it China now?

    		This maybe what you are lkooking for. Newport is where the "Mole" Wrench "Grips" was invented. After trawling the net it is the only answer i can logically find. try the following link.

    		YAY! to Baloo! And Mole always used to have a seasonal or topical message for the motorist just before the tunnels but, alas, he is no more. I think the powers that be thought he was just too much of a distraction. He's gone to the great fortress in the sky...and I didn't suspect you for a minute, mochyn!
