    The Pastor came to share some pasta (Cannelloni.) As we partook of it we discussed our favourite historical figures - Louis Pasteur for me; Boris Pasternak for the Pastor. We then adjourned to enjoy our pastime of painting. Whilst he mixed paints on a palette, I was working on my painting using a technique known as impasto. What is meant by "impasto"?
