    Where is the Gabba?

    		It is in Woolloongabba, Australia, and is a 37,600 seat oval sports venue.

    		The Brisbane Cricket Ground, commonly known as The Gabba, is within two km of my home. The Brisbane Lions Australian Rules team call it home. Major re-development took place there to bring the ground up to acceptable standard for 2000 Olympic soccer matches. In my opinion, The Gabba has lost all of the charm and quaintness that endeared some and exasperated others. But that's "Progress", I guess.
