    What would happen if you tried to install software whose minimum requirements say "Pentium IV processor" onto a Pentium II computer?

    		If it specifically makes use of cpu internal sub-routines or machine code instruction calls that are only present in a P4, then it will almost certainly not work. Otherwise it will just run very much slower than intended.
