If the people were deaf they wouldn't have a problem because they would be using sign language or lip reading and since both are visual, they travel at the speed of light !!!

Two people in a plane traveling at a supersonic speed could very well carry on a conversation between themselves. As it is, the earth is spinning at 24,000 MPH around its own axis and hurling through space at what could be assumed is well beyond the speed of sound, and yet every healthy hearing individual could carry on a conversation with every other healthy hearing individual, assuming they could understand each other's languages.

The speed is an outside factor, so therefore does not have any effect on the enclosed cabin.
To give you an example there were about 16 men on the prototype Concorde all talking normally. The only problem they encountered was a slight noise at Mach 2 - and that was only because the cabin was not insulated at that stage.

Depends if they are married. In my case I would be unable to carry on a conversation as I would not be able to get a word in.
Seriously though, My wife and I were lucky enough to have travelled at Mach 2 and we could speak normally.
