Tommy Hutchinson scored for both sides in the 1981 FA Cup final. He was playing for Manchester City who drew 1-1 with Tottenham Hotspurs. Spurs won the replay 3-2.

This does happen quite regularly - a browse through the football scorelines in the Sunday papers will generally turn up an example of a player who has scored for both sides each week.
Tommy Hutchinson is probably the most famous example though. Good to see that chris correctly used the phrase "scored for both sides", rather than the commonly used "scored at both ends", as Tommy Hutchinson actually scored both of his goals at the same end.
Sadly for him, the own goal, a deflected header from a Spurs free kick, was scored second and cancelled out his opener for Man City.
