    		The Oxford Committee for Famine Relief, on the fifth October 1942 in fact, at St Mary the Virgin Church in Oxford, where there is a commemorative inscription.

    		And for those of us who haven't been, and can't get to Oxford to see the inscription, the charity is OXFAM.
