49 hours, as Kiribati straddles the date line.
The eastern parts of Kiribati are 2 hours east of the date line (same time as Hawaii, but different day), and it's still in the same day as those countries just west of the date line, which makes it 49 hours of elapsed time:
when it's 0000 hrs Monday in Kiribati, it's 2300hrs Saturday in Midway (the first zone east of the date line) .. 24 hours later Monday has finished in Kiribati, and it's now 2300 hrs on Sunday in Midway. One hour later (that's 25 hours elapsed), it's 0100 hrs Tuesday in Kiribati, and 0000 hrs Monday in Midway .. 24 hours later Monday finishes in Midway, giving a total of 49 hours elapsed (I think).
