Happy ANZAC day Aussies and Kiwis. What does ANZAC stand for and what is the connection between Two-up and ANZAC day?

It stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps. Not sure about the other part.

It was first played in the trenches in World War I, so it is classed as an ANZAC tradition.

Two Up is a game which involves the tossing of two coins in the air, and betting on which side - heads or tails - will be uppermost when they land. Brawny Australian males have been known to toss their wives or girlfriends in the air in place of coins. Some have even tossed both wife and girlfriend at the same time.
