    Tommy Farr the boxer fought Joe Louis in front of a crowd of 32,000 in New York in 1937. Although he didn't win, he took the Brown Bomber all the way - the full 15 rounds and earned the respect of the world for his efforts. It was said that the whole of Wales was listening to the fight on the radio.
