What is the protocol for the naming of planets?

    Question #47049. Asked by woody156.

    robboy

I gather you want to know how one goes about having a planet named, so this may be helpful. I'd try to repeat what it says, but I have other things to do with the next several hours of my life. It seems to be about as simple as getting a permit to be a heretic at the Vatican.
